People often don’t want to face their shadow side or the parts of themselves they’d like to hide. I was thinking of that as I walked to get clear on how to wrap up the book that rewrote me and found these in the grass next to the road… clearly a lost object meant to help me see the vice these people still had me in because of how I protect them by holding back insightful tales… there’s always other books but for today I’m off the hook because I’m ready to write the final chapter of the book that rewrote me, one month after I started this version, after five years of writing many others. It’s been a process and I’m grateful for all of it, including the hard lessons I learned when others saw me as something to burn. Their loss because they clearly didn’t see how the carbon of my former self would be turned into a diamond they don’t get to wear or share in the profits from given they didn’t value me before I was worth more to the world.
