Mass Effect 3, playthrough part 23/final (with commentary)
In the last part of Mass Effect, Shepard, the crew of the normandy and everyone in the alliance join up to begin the fight for Earth. With Cereberus out of the way and the Catalyst revealed nothing is in Shepard's way from using the Crucible to defeat the Reapers. The bulk of the alliance fleet is to engage with the reaper fleet so that enough of the alliance's ground forces can land and get to the Reaper device that transports personnel to the Citadel. The Illusive man has a head start so Shepard must blast his way through Reaper forces and find a way to activate the Crucible. The fate of the galaxy is at stake, and no matter who wins many will die in the process. This concludes the Mass Effect Trilogy. I will be doing a single part (at least) of Mass Effect Andromeda. Then I will be moving on. Wrapping up the War for the Overworld playthrough and starting something new. Enjoy and stay tuned for more content.
In this part, the rage continues but I do power through the rest of the arena. I then proceed to waste time trying to figure out how to meet all the party members outside the party. I find some success after fumbling about. I could not find online instructions on how and were to meet up with people. I know for sure Grunt has such a meet up. Either way still on the Citadel DLC not story progress. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more Mass Effect.
We come to the predictable conclusion. Predictable that it is ending within three parts. The actual ending was not predictable given what happened in the first two parts. The survivors continue hoping by going deeper in they can get back up via a different tunnel or somewhere to climb up. When they discover the archeology team went even deeper, for some reason the survivors decided to go down there and investigate. It only goes poorly from there. For both the story (quality of the writing) and the survivors' situation. They make an unusual discovery in the depths of this Temple. Let me know what you think in the comments. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more content.
In this part, Shepard and squad get to the drive core of the Geth ship, and find the reaper device. Within it was Legion. The Geth platform that assisted Shepard against the Collectors. Legion reveals that the Geth went to the Reapers willingly after the Quarians attacked. This information throws me into a rant. The writing this game is complete ridiculous, it is both terrible and unjustifiable but characters act like their is some validity to their actions. Gameplay wise, I finish Tali's recruitment, talk with the crew, go to the citadel, and do some side missions. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more Mass Effect.
I continue with Little Hope. The survivors of the bus crash continue to explore around Little Hope, constantly hit with visions of the past. Back to pilgrim times, specifically during some witch trials. It seems like events of the past are repeating or at the very least are having an effect on the present. The group debates whether a young girl from the past is behind it all or not. They have to run and fight against these monstrous creatures that chase after them. Let me know what you think in the comments. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more content.
I tried something different. Here is War For The Overworld, it is the spiritual successor to Dungeon Keeper. Since the Dark Deity has glitchy and stopped that playthrough I thought I should see about finding something to replace it with. So here we go, War For the Overworld. You play as the Underlord, recently resurrected by the Dark God to serve him and begin the War for the Overworld. I play through the beginning missions. I play a bit slow, as you can see I didn't get the speed achievements yet. I could if I wanted to, but I enjoy taking my time. The coms are weak and stupid so my slow and lazy play style works. Let me know what you think in the comments. Enjoy and stay tuned for more content.
In this part, Kratos, Mimir and Freya do some side quests around the frozen lake in midgard. I waste time in Vanaheim thinking theres something to turn in. The story progresses. Brok and Sindri think they have a tool that Kratos can use to kill Heimdall...
In this part, Jin continues to liberate towns and farms under the control of the Mongol invaders. People are displaced and fleeing the mongols, can Jin save them all? I finish up all the strike locations, one lighthouse remaining, and other collectibles continue to get ticked down. We continue the march towards the end of the game. Side stories remain, and I rage at the combat. Stay tuned for more Ghost of Tsushima.
Maiev, Tyrande, and Malfurion pursue Illidan across the sea to Azeroth, specifically the ruins of Lordaeron. Malfurion disgusted with how the Undead's blight affected the land decides to communicate with nature. This leaves Maiev and Tyrande to lead the charge against Illidan. They come across Prince Kael'thas and the Blood Elves. They are part of the survivors of Arthas' campaign against the northern kingdoms of Azeroth. Maiev is able to convince Kael if they help him, he would help them later. Let me know what you think in the comments. Enjoy and stay tuned for more content.
Time for another episode of Quick Look. This time we are looking at Disgaea 4. This is a single player strategy game. You control a certain amount of characters on a board and the goal is to clear your opponent's characters. Chess with extra steps. Let me know your opinions in the comment section.
