For web development, these three technologies are just a few of the combinations you can use to program the backend to your full-stack web application.
NodeJS allows us to use Javascript outside of the browser.
NPM allows us to easily download and manage Javascript libraries.
Express is a framework that helps us build REST APIs.
This is a brief introduction into the three technologies and how they work together.
I show you how to write a JS program and run it in your console.
Then we install a package and use it with NPM.
Then we use Express to write and run a quick REST server.

Probably the most important topic in this beginner series.
Normalising.
To be clear, I think "min-max" normalising is taking place. You can find out more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRxStPgTm8U

As ReactJS Web developers, the most important part of any (more than simple)web app is state.
The normal way of handling state in ReactJS is by passing props DOWN the tree.
This works for most use cases.
In a large tree with many branches, this can get convoluted.
The React Context API lets us simplify how state is handled.
We can elevate local state to a global state so multiple components can have access to the same data.
I'll take you through creating a place to store global state, how we connect to the global state, and how we change the global state.

We can boil computer programming down to one simple concept/practice/idea:
data manipulation
we take some input, an object--could be a number, set of numbers, words, images--perform tasks on those things,
then pass/move the results to another location
Throughout this video series, I'll be focusing on and building upon this paradigm.
We'll start with a simple form for the user, capture their data, manipulate their data, send it to the back-end, then we'll go from there.

As a Javascript web developer, get to know one of the most fundamental concepts in ReactJS: Components.
There are two types of components in ReactJS, 'Function' and 'Class'.
The major difference between the two being state.
In this video, I'll take you through building both types. You'll see the differences in syntax, how state is handled,
and how props are passed down.
If you want to know how to get a basic ReactJS project up and running, check out the link below.
