There is something up with the Danny Masterson sentencing. Why did he get the maximum sentence for the crimes as a first time offender, when the evidence is so light and refutable? Why did the letters of support get published, when they are normally left confidential? Things are not adding up in this case, all things considered. Multiple family members and fellow co-stars came to bat for the character of Masterson in letters of support to the Judge for leniency on his sentence. Giovanni Ribisi, Bill Baldwin and several members of his family all chimed in. A majority of the notable cast of his most famous project, That '70's Show, also wrote in. Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, but not Topher Grace, who is being made out to be some kind of a hero for staying silent and let his wife take pot shots? Weird. But the biggest names, and the people with the most to lose by back up Hyde, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, are being ruthlessly attacked for simply knowing a human side of the man. They had to make a hostage video, which isn't necessarily an apology as much as a reaffirmation of their position, which isn't satisfying the #beliveallwomen crowd. Things just aren't adding up with this case. If an appeal is accepted and a new trial emerges, hopefully some questions will be fully answered. Two massive swings and misses at the box office this weekend. The final DCEU film, The Flash, went out with a monumental wimper. By some reports, the most expensive film of all time, is on track to lose $300 million. Elemental, the Disney Pixar product, just had the worst opening weekend in the studio's history since the original Toy Story hit theatres 30 years ago! If you look at the numbers more honestly, you will realize that both of these films are massive flops that tell you what the public is after and what they aren't. The superhero trend is over. Woke films aren't it. The people have had enough and it's time to get back to basics. Will the companies learn? Well, it's two of the dumbest production houses we're talking about here...
