a game changing time tracking tip for eBay resellers help turn your hobby into a business
I needed a way to track my time doing eBay reselling. Over 20 years ago I had an eBay business reselling items I pickrd up at thrift stores. I was very bad at keeping track of expenses and profit etcetera. This time I want to do things differently.
The purpose of my eBay business will be to use one day a week and try to grow the business to where it equals the amount of money I get from Social Security. That's my goal. The only way I can achieve my goal of reselling items on eBay is if I'm a lot more efficient than last time.

One of the most important things for me to do will be to find a way to keep track of my time and since I'm already in the habit of using my smartwatch for exercise it will be simple to track my eBay thrift store sourcing of items in my listing and photography and packing and shipping and customer support etcetera.
One of the big advantages people have nowadays is there are so many people on YouTube describing their process of how they buy and sell things on eBay. That did not exist for me.
I'm looking forward to this process of relearning how to buy and sell on eBay and anticipate I will be able to reach my goal of acquiring an income equal to the small Social Security check I get each month. I hope to be posting an EBay video every week about what I've learned the mistakes I've made and resources that I found available to me that might be helpful to you and others who want to go on the same journey.
This week I would recommend people check out the channel of Justin Resells as his video documenting how he can list an item in under 4 minutes was instrumental in pushing me over the edge to try this again.

Today I made a sort of hybrid salad, part Waldorf salad, and part macaroni salad. It is super easy and tastes great.
RECIPE
1 can mackerel 15 ounces. Rinse and drain. Add spices and flavorings and grill 15 minutes 375 Fahrenheit. cut into small uniform pieces. I only used half of the fish for this recipe.
Used on fish-
lemon juice
pepper
celery seed
Italian seasoning
garlic powder
parsley
Worcestershire sauce
1/2 box shell macaroni
chopped celery (mandatory)
chopped olives
chopped mix of vegetables
diced peeled apple soaked in lemon juice to keep from browning
raisins
Mayonnaise
pickle relish
grated carrot
minced garlic
minced fresh onion

Can you grow microgreens with cheap Walmart Pennington Sunflower seeds for birds? Don't they all have pesticides? Everyone on the Internet says to stay away from bird sunflower seeds as they must have pesticides in them. That is the main argument I could find against using Walmart's Pennington bird sunflower seeds to grow microgreens.
I emailed the Pennington company and they assured me that while their seeds are not sold or packaged for human consumption they do not add any pesticides to their sunflower seeds. I earlier bought Prairie Melody sunflower seeds as they specifically state they do not use pesticides but when I run out I am trying the Pennington Walmart seeds to experiment with as they are much cheaper and do not have pesticides added either according to Pennington.
Earlier I made a video about a low-cost pesticide remover for fruits and vegetables that I imagine would work equally with sunflower seeds.

I have not tried Pennington sunflower seeds yet for microgreens and I am not recommending you do so as the company does say they are not sold for human consumption, but the main reason people give me for not using them to grow microgreens seems to be not relevant.

Here is how to convert a Taco box you were probably going to throw away into a seed sprouter to grow alfalfa and mung bean sprouts and which it is also possible to grow micro-greens like broccoli, lettuce, kale, arugula, cabbage , sunflower, cauliflower, kohlrabi, and radish.
I will post a micro-green video using the taco box next week.
Don't forget, some seeds used for sprouting can carry salmonella or e.coli which can be deadly in people who have weakened immune systems. take precautions with your sprouting or use them in cooking where heat will remove any dangers. The occurrences of salmonella with sprouts are tiny compared to eggs and other foods, but I still wanted you to be aware so you could make wise choices.

I normally spend way too much time editing. Some of my story videos require editing and I am very proud of them, they are labors of love. Many of my other videos are simple DIY videos that should not require a lot of time editing but usually end up having a lot of time spent on them because it is so easy to add extra stuff in the video editing programs.
I learned a new tip from Lindsay Weilrich at TheFrugalCrafter. She uses a Samsung F 90 to edit in camera by pausing. The Samsung seems to be the only available digital video camera that allows you to pause and not make a new file.
Here is Lindsay's channel where you can see the end results of her no editing process, I am impressed. She has a wonderful channel.

A viewer requested to see what I have been eating from my food storage in the past few weeks that have been good to eat. I took a photo of everything I have been eating for the last week when I remembered to do so. A few items were from the freezer but most were canned or pantry bulk food items. I do miss fresh vegetavles and snacks but overall I am happy and gaining weight.
I also gave a shoutout to a few people that read the video description in the last food-related video and also went over the failure of my 6-year-old black beans to sprout.
Most of my food storage has been acquired over a long period of time for very little money per purchase. The LDS Mormon site allows people to buy cases of food in #10 cans and only charges $3 per purchase shipping charge regardless of the number of cases so it is an ideal way for people to develop an emergency supply of food. Unfortunately, they are on backorder during the calamity. When things get back to normal I recommend everyone try to add to their food supplies and perhaps reallocate and priortize their consumer spending.
While I am happy with my food preparations I realize there are other prepper areas I should have done better but that should be for another video.
I hope everybody and their families are safe and the virus dies out and we can all get back to work as soon as possible and we try to help those who lost their place in the economy and do not forget those who have been out risking their health making the system function for the rest of us at home.

I recommend using door draft stoppers in South Florida.
They keep in the cold air.
When the wind blows it does not suck out all of your high priced cold air.
The little gadgets are also handy at keeping out bugs and spiders and snakes.
of course, they are also excellent at keeping in the warm air if you live up north. these door draft stoppers also work with windows and are good for lowering both your heating bill and your air conditioning and electric bill.
