How to connect e-drums to an iPhone with the Zoom F1 and EXH-6 capsule.
In this short video I go through the basics of how I get the audio from my old Roland TD 9 kit into my iPhone 13 to create videos for Youtube or other social media platforms. I run a pair of cables from the module directly into the ZOOM F1.
By using a small Zoom F1 field recorder and the EXH-6 zoom XLR capsule making drumming videos is a snap.
The Roland TD 9 is an old electronic drum kit but still very useful for those on a budget.

Another failed return to home...
My fault, battery was weak and I lost situational awareness which caused a loss of the drone entirely. Night flights are fun but a persons depth of field is mucked up!
So instead of it landing .5KM away in a field it crash landed 1.5KM away in someones yard re-breaking the airframe in the same spot as the last repair.
It was missing for 4 days this time...a new record for me!
I swear I am going to get a locator on this damn thing soon!

This Is the next day and the rim is holding air.
The crack in the rim was very small and I would not rely on this rim as a daily driver. Might be good enough for a spare rim in a dire emergency.
