The loss making scheme - Teso citrus farmers in tears as strange disease cripples oranges
Citrus fruit farmers in Teso sub region have been trained and oriented on how to manage Orange related diseases that have led them into making losses.
This follows a public outcry from one of them from Amuria District Hellen Beatrice Atai who could not hold back her vulnerability publicly calling for rescue.
Atai says she has invested over five million in agro-chemicals which have turned ineffective attracting the attention of National Agricultural Research Organization.
