This morning a good friend of mine sent me a link about Oregon HB 3063 [1], which has been submitted to the House of Representatives, and if passed would eliminate all mandatory vaccine exemptions except for medical diagnoses (ex. auto-immune disorders & allergies to ingredients) For those of you who aren't aware, vaccines do not offer immunity (though that is the word that they choose to use in the bill), never receive double-blind testing (as required of all other pharmaceuticals), and in many cases actually increase the chances of getting the disease (and even more often they cause the recipient to "shed" the disease to others. If you've been following my work, you know that I've started a series called "Down the Vaccine Rabbit Hole", of which I've only released part one [2] so far. I've been feeling the call to get rolling on it once again, after taking a couple months to process the darkness of the history I learned so far. For those of you who aren't familiar with what a State of Emergency means in the United States, Inc., it basically gives the government carte blanche to do whatever it would like, including suspending habeas corpus, calling in the national guard, and otherwise throwing the constitution out the window. While Washington has already declared a state of emergency [3] due to the "measles outbreak", the fact that Oregon is planning a bill to do so in one year clearly violates Glass v. Board of Common Council, 262 Ky. 471 (Ky. 1936) [5], which states "Existing and continuing conditions are never considered emergencies." Measles is just one of the many things for which vaccines are being pushed currently, and it's interesting to see the difference in how the media & government handle it now, versus how it was covered before there was a vaccine to market: https://youtu.be/mDb0ZS3vB9g Of course, one of the main idiocies of the vaccine pushers is that they claim vaccines offer immunization, then turn around and say that un-vaccinated children are spreading diseases to those who got the vaccine. If vaccines were actually effective at what their claimed goal is, then vaccinated people would have no reason to ever worry about the un-vaxxed, as they would be immune. Many of you may be familiar with #Splinterlands, formerly known as #SteemMonsters, the high fantasy combat card game on the Hive blockchain... *I'll give you a moment to go look through their [website](https://splinterlands.com) if you're not. Basically, a few months ago they started [pre-sale](https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/splinterlands-land-expansion-details) on plots of land in the game. These plots, limited to 150,000, are NFTs - each with a rarity, an element, a status, and other unique attributes. At this point, almost 100,000 of the pre-sale have been sold, and there is currently a 20% discount for paying in **BAT** tokens, so a few days ago I decided to go for it. I swapped a couple other things into BAT ($20+ in fees), and went to buy my tract of land. Can't just send it, you have to use a particular type of wallet that can be connected... I send my BAT to Metamask wallet ($10 fee), and sign the transaction for Splinterlands ($10 fee)... It turns out that the subtext says: > *The FIRST TIME you make a payment with the specified ERC-20 token, you will be asked to submit a transaction to approve payments using that token in Splinterlands. This transaction will also require gas fees paid in ETH.* So after giving that long enough for a bunch of confirmations, I tried to make the *actual* purchase, but just kept getting error messages. I walked away for a couple of days, and when I came back to buy my land today, this is what I saw from MetaMask... Ethereum just keeps giving me more reasons to dump it and all of its tokens. Good lord. That 20% discount for paying in BAT has so far cost me at least $50 in transaction fees, so that's cool. As long as I can get it to work with just one more cheap fee, I'm still coming out a little bit ahead I guess.
