Three college students travel through time to stop a power-mad tentacle from achieving world domination in this recreation of the classic LucasArts computer game.
Starring Keaton Zahorsky as Bernard Bernoulli, Elliott Ridgway as Hoagie, Phil Ridgway as Laverne, Christopher Zahorsky as Dr. Fred, Anton Ridgway as Benjamin Franklin, and Alex Ridgway as Purple Tentacle and Green Tentacle. Directed by Elliott Ridgway.
Day of the Tentacle was filmed in 2005 by the Ridgways and Zahorskys, in an effort to pay homage to their favorite computer game, and is in many ways their first true feature film. It was completed on July 25, 2007, but significantly recut and improved for YouTube (originally uploaded in ten parts) in 2007. This version of the film is identical to the version that was available on the Day of the Tentacle DVD originally sold on the Ridgway Films store between 2009 and 2012.
