Sermon begins at 33:30
Please note: the lines that appear in wide-angle are not "screen tearing" but rather cables that have been put in place for our upcoming Christmas play. The play will take place December 18th, therefore the cables will be visible in future videos until the event is complete.
Today's sermon is on the promises of Christ Jesus as presented in the Old Testament. Genesis 3:15 shows us that God promised a Messiah and throughout the early Scriptures there is a through-line to the fulfillment of that promise. The prophet Isaiah speaks of this anticipation and the coming birth of Christ in chapters 9 and 11. In those days, the Jewish people had long waited for the Savior to come as we today anticipate His return. What does "Wonderful", "Counselor", "Mighty God", "Everlasting Father", and "Prince of Peace" really mean? Join us as Pastor Charles presents his message this Advent season.
For further study, please refer to Isaiah 9:2, 6-7; 11:1-2.
