Traveling the Road to Forever is not a solo sport. You do it together with the person or persons who you want to experience lasting relationships with. All parties must do their part, otherwise, the journey will fail. As we have learned, it takes a Spirit-filled person to navigate the Road to Forever. But, we must add, that it takes two or more Spirit-filled companions to make that journey possible for everyone. Doing it alone will not be enough.

An "Open Door" is an opportunity from God that we must "TEST" or discern. That is the nature of an "Open Door." It is not simply an opportunity that we must grab the moment we see it. Instead, we must take the time to pray and seek guidance from the Lord, especially through the help of spiritual friends or companions. It's not an easy task. We can make mistakes along the way. The choices are not always clear. But why? Why would God give us these "Open Doors" and yet not make them so crystal clear that it is from Him? Why do we have to go through all the trouble of discerning them and thus make possible mistakes along the way?

Good morning, everyone! The title of Day 2 of RLCC Daily Devo is: "The Temptation to Doubt God's Power"
Our Scripture passage is: Genesis 17:1-18:15
Meditation: Despite God proving Himself faithful to Abram, he and his wife struggled to believe that God had the power to fulfill His promise. Both of them laughed. However, God reprimanded them for their lack of faith and made a covenant to fulfill His promise. In the same way, we may be tempted to doubt God’s power and be tempted to deviate from our mission. Thankfully, nothing is too hard for the Lord.
Personal Application: Reflect on times when doubt crept into your faith, just as it did for Abram and Sarai. Choose to believe that nothing is too hard for the Lord, even in challenging circumstances. Reaffirm your faith in God's limitless power.
Prayer: Lord, forgive moments of doubt when I questioned Your power. Strengthen my faith to believe that nothing is impossible for You, even in the face of challenges. May I trust in Your boundless capabilities and remain steadfast in Your mission. In Jesus' name, amen.

Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone. 33 As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 1 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. (Romans 9:30-10:4)
Salvation is available for everyone. But not everyone would like to avail of it. Why? It's difficult to understand why some people refuse God's free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. But we must try to understand so that we can really pray for God's intervention. This is a spiritual battle and only the Spirit of God can open the eyes of an unbeliever. Often the problem is wrong assumptions.
