Small widgets take up the space of 4 app icons, medium widgets are the size of 8 app icons, and large widgets are the size of 16 app icons. Tap the Add Widget button for the size you want. When your new widget appears, tap it to customize. Tap Default Widget. Now you can choose the kind of widget you’re looking for. The free options include Time, Day & Date, Custom Photo and Text, Battery, Calendar, Reminders, Health & Activity, and Astronomy. If you pay for a Widgetsmith Premium membership, you can also create custom widgets for Weather and Tides. Tap the widget style you want to use. Then tap Font. Here you can choose a text style for your widget. Tap the one you want to use. Next, tap Tint Colour. This allows you to choose a text colour. If you select Custom, you can drag the colour selection tool with your finger to pick any text colour you want. Now tap Background Colour. Choose a background colour you like, or tap Custom to pick your own. Lastly, tap Border Colour. Pick a border colour for your widget, or leave None selected if you don’t want a border. When you’re done customizing your widget, tap the arrow in the top left corner to go back. At the top, select Tap to Rename. Type in what you want to call this widget. Finally, tap Save in the top right corner. Repeat these steps to create as many custom widgets as you like. To add your new custom widgets to your home screen, go back to your home screen and hold down one of your existing app icons. Then tap Edit Home Screen. Tap the plus sign in the top left corner to add a new widget. In the menu that appears, tap Widgetsmith. Now, select the size of the customized widget you want to add to your home screen, then tap Add Widget at the bottom. Now, tap your new widget to select which of your Widgetsmith designs of that size you’d like to show here. Continue adding the rest of your custom widgets following these same steps. Arrange your widgets by dragging them into place, the same way you can with regular app icons. Then, enter a topic title for your meeting. Now click the Recurring Meeting check box. Choose whether you want to use your personal meeting ID or generate a unique one automatically. You can leave the automatically generated password or type in a custom password of your own. Configure the video and audio options how you’d like, and select which calendar system you want to use to schedule your meeting. Then click Schedule. From there, the process will vary slightly depending on which calendar service you’re using. Your meeting event should automatically open in a window of the calendar you’ve selected. Use the calendar’s options to set up your meeting recurrence, including start and end time, and recurrence pattern. Make sure you’ve set these details how you want them, then send out your meeting invites to the contacts you’d like to have attend this recurring meeting. Previously you could only “Like” these things, but now Facebook has a variety of reaction options. These include Like, Love, Laugh, Wow, Sad and Angry. To react to a post on your Facebook timeline, hover your cursor over the “Like” button at the bottom of the post. You should see the menu of reaction icons pop up. Now, just click on the reaction you’d like to add. You can only add one reaction per post. If you accidentally click the wrong one, don’t worry. You can follow the same steps to change your reaction to a post. You can also react to comments on posts the same way. In your Facebook messages, you can react to a message by hovering over the message, clicking on the smiley face icon, and clicking the reaction you want to apply. Commenting is another way to let your friends know what you think of a post. In addition to adding a reaction, you can type in a response in a comment. Comments can be text only, or include images, animated GIFs, or fun stickers. To add a comment to a post, click Comment at the bottom. A text box should then appear below. Click the text box and type in what you’d like to say. If you want to tag a friend in your comment, type in the @ symbol, followed by their name. To post your comment, hit the Enter key on your keyboard. To add an emoji to your comment, click the smiley face icon. Then click the emoji you want to add. To add a photo or video from your computer, tap the camera icon. Then find the image you want to attach, and click Open. To comment a fun animated GIF, click the GIF icon. Facebook has lots of these readily available. Simply click the GIF search box and type in a keyword or phrase to find GIFs that suit your mood. Then click on a GIF to post it as a comment. To post a sticker comment, click the Sticker icon on the far right of the comment text box. Then, you can search stickers the same way you did with GIFs, browse by mood or select a style category from the top of the menu. When you find one you like, click the sticker to post it. Facebook’s Sharing features make it easy to share the posts you love with your friends. When you find a post you think one of your friends would like, or want to repost someone else’s post on your own page, you can use the Share features to do so.
