When Lasse was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 25 years ago, he was told he could eat whatever he wanted.. and he did just that. He ate fibrous whole grain breads and the like, and yet his blood sugar still suffered. Despite the doctors telling him he was doing great, he was developing retinopathy. He knew he needed a change!
Finally, he made the switch to low-carb, and now his sugars (and his eyes) are stable! He's living with less worry and more ability to do what he wants to do, knowing he is in control of his diabetes. This is how Lasse #tametype1!
