Now that I have returned to my usual format, I started with this gem. Even though I am still processing it especially the whole multiversal scope of it all as I was doing this short but unscripted spoiler-free review, I think this did even better than the first film and I also think that this used the Multiverse aspect to its advantage even better than Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness from last year. I won’t spoil what I mean from that but all I can say is that it left me wanting more and hoping to see what Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will bring next year! After I took a very long break especially with current events unfolding, I decided to do something different on my channel. Now don't worry, I will get back to posting song covers sometime soon but for this video this was something that I think needed to be talked about. As some of you remember, last year I saw Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker in theatres. I initially thought it was amazing (amidst by fanboying), but now as I look back after rewatching it, my mood on it has definitely soured for that film including Episode 8: The Last Jedi. So with that, I decided to talk a little bit about why Episode 7: The Force Awakens is (by default) the only good film from the sequel trilogy in my opinion. For this video, rather than using clips from the films I used images just so I wouldn't have to tempt the wrath of the copyright gods.
