Oct 11, 2019: I was running in the Canadian Federal Election for the Green Party of Canada for the riding of Thornhill. I was in Ottawa, in a cab on my way to help the Ottawa Centre Green candidate. The driver told me that the local Liberal MP, Catherine McKenna, is very popular. I told the driver that I wrote a funny love song about the Green Party leader, Elizabeth May. And then I guess we got onto the topic of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and the driver mentioned how Matthew Perry (who played Chandler Bing on Friends) says he beat up Justin Trudeau when they were kids in Ottawa.
