October Vlog, early Winter, FCPX Scene Removal Mask , Drone Venture & More
This is my unscripted vlog for October 2023. You’ll see me try out Final Cut Pro’s new frame removal mask in an attempt to get out of the early winter in Edmonton. I talk about my life in an unfocused manner and show you some of my latest drone footage.
The journey across Canada goes on. This episode takes you from the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula, via Brampton and Mississauga, to Hamilton. Barbara joined me once again for part of the ride. We decided on a little detour toward Niagara Falls together.

Colombia is a great country in so many ways, but it also has its challenges, among them political violence, high crime rates, displaced people and even landmines.
How much of this would be of relevance to two adventure thirsty bicycle tourists from Canada?
What would it be like to ride bicycles on Colombian highways?
See for yourself and follow Barbara and myself on the first day of this epic adventure!

Captain Jorg is taking things to the next level. First it is transporting the inflatable Hydroforce Voyager 300 inflatable boat by bicycle. Next it is all about launching and catching the drone while on the North Saskatchewan River with the boat. What could possibly now wrong?

This video is part of the series documenting my bicycle tour, coast to coast across Canada. After camping near Christina Lake I had to climb up Bonanza Pass. Elevation at Paulson Summit is over 1,500 metres. But every mountain has two sides and the rest of the ride to Castlegar was effortless. The journey goes on to Nelson, where we visited friends and stayed over night. The following day Barbara and I rode together to Balfour, and the ferry across Kootenay Lake. We found a room at the Boccalino Hotel.
