This Fishing Trip Went From Bad, To Good, To Way Worse
I think the title here sort of speaks for itself in regards to this video. My fishing trip started out badly with only a few small fish and some missed bites. After running into a subscriber which is always nice I immediately caught a big redfish, quickly followed by me dropping my GoPro in the water. After a few minutes of searching in the murky creek I was finally able to find it and it lived to see another day (as did the fish).
I wanted to make this video as a little reminder that everybody has bad trips and they can't all be great days on the water. And we all have some googan moments from time to time... some more than others.

On this trip I got out on the water after work in hopes of catching a few fish before the sun went down. The plan was to fish docks with crabs but I ended up throwing a lure around for the first 45 minutes or so and caught a nice surprise fish. After that, I moved onto the docks and got on a quick bite with a mix of sheepshead and redfish. I ended up getting my butt kicked by the couple of really giant bites I got but I did catch a few big fish and got to watch the sunset while doing it. Over all it was a great night on the water and I hope you all enjoy it!

I went out on the kayak and anchored up in Breach Inlet with the plan to do some shark fishing using a huge ladyfish as cut bait. However, I found out pretty quickly that the ladyfish was going to attract a lot more than the sharks! I ended up having an epic day of fishing, the highlight of which was I caught my personal best (PB) redfish! It came out to 28 or 29” and was incredibly fat. I also caught a 3 foot bonnethead shark and a ton of whiting, 4 of which came home with me for dinner.

I was out fishing near an oyster bar the other day when this big red decided to show up right before sunset. This fish had been feasting on all the bait that's in the creeks right now and was FAT! It was so heavy I thought it might be a ray at first. A great end to a beautiful evening on the water!

I decided to try my hand at a catch and cook video by making some fresh speckled trout ceviche! I went inshore fishing on my kayak once again and got into some good speckled sea trout, but this time I mainly used the salty ned rig. The day before was tropical storm Isaias so the water was weirdly cold as was the weather so I wasn't sure what to expect going into the morning.
I ended up catching two slot sized spotted seatrout and took them home to get cleaned up for some delicious, fresh ceviche. I made the cooking portion of the video very detailed so that if anybody is interested in making the recipe (which is absolutely delicious), you can make it just by following along to the video. If any of you try the recipe please let me know below what you think!
Even if you don't try the recipe, let me know what you think of the format I went with, doing catch n' cooks is brand new to me and this is my first attempt so I'd appreciate any suggestions or feedback.

In this video I decided to do some catfishing at night to see what the action was like, I was not disappointed! I had some fast and crazy action on the catfish after dark using bluegill as cut bait on a fish finder rig. Ended up catching a couple nice blue catfish and a gnarly looking flathead all in really shallow water!

Well I finally decided to switch it up and went out to fish a new area and found the fish absolutely stacked up! I was catching fish practically every cast! So much so I had to make this trip a 2 part video! I'm not sure I've ever had a lure bite like this and I had such a fun morning out exploring new water. The first lure of choice for the day was a 1/10 oz nedlockz head paired up with a 2.5" zman slim swimz. The reds couldn't get enough!
