Out of all the Rolex watches coming out of Baselworld 2017, this is my favorite!
The 50th Anniversary Rolex Sea-Dweller Reference 126600 is a 43mm piece that is really a “next-level” diving watch, at least when you compare it to a standard Submariner.
I would even venture to say that the watch is a Deepsea killer!
Rolex hit it right on the money with the design of this Sea-Dweller 50th Anniversary edition. I love the red lettering on the dial of the watch and the bezel has a great aesthetic appeal as well (even though it looks very similar to that of the Rolex Deepsea).
The model that I reviewed on this video is one from a client and personal friend by the name of Pito Luna. Pito, I think that you have a timeless keeper here!

So I had a lot of requests on people asking me why don't I review more vintage watches.
See now the thing is I'm not exactly an expert on vintage pieces. My forte is more the modern watches. But I have had access to several of them and I've decided to do a few for you.
And I'm gonna call this series, “The Vintage Life.”
So the vintage watch world is a very complicated and tricky world I wanna tell you.
The reason is because there's several small things that can change the value of these watches dramatically. A simple bezel or perhaps a service dial can modify that price anywhere from five to fifteen thousand dollars, so you really gotta know what you're doing in the vintage world, so that you know what you're buying and if long term the value is there on the piece.

The reality is that the luxury watch lineup of Hollywood's infamous Ironman superhero leaves a little to be desired. It definitely needs some work!
Robert Downey is definitely into watches and I would love to get an interview of the start one day. The first watch I noticed on him was a Baume & Mercier, which is a very simple watch that might have some kind of sentimental value to him. Hey, we're all entitled to having one not-so-high-end watch in our collection right?!?
Our Hollywood watch enthusiast also owns a Breitling Pathfinder (I'm not really a big fan of Breitlings as some of you already know), as well as a Bell & Ross Titanium Orange.
A slightly better addition to his watch lineup is an Omega Speedmaster, which is pretty iconic. Omega is also a very reputable brand of watches.
