WHAT ARE THREE THINGS WE CAN DO TO IMPROVE THE JUDICIARY IN TEXAS?
The judiciary system in Texas is a crucial component of the state's legal system, responsible for interpreting laws, settling disputes, and ensuring fair trials. However, like any system, there is always room for improvement. Here are four things we can do to improve the judiciary in Texas:
1) Increase funding: Texas courts are chronically underfunded, resulting in a backlog of cases and slow processing times. With more funding, courts can hire more judges, clerks, and other staff members to speed up the judicial process and improve access to justice for all Texans.
2) Enhance technology: The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for better technology in courtrooms. Improving access to remote hearings and expanding online resources can help increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure safety during times of crisis.
3) Increase transparency: Transparency is essential to building trust in the judiciary system. Making court records more accessible and improving public reporting on judicial activity can help Texans understand how their courts work and hold judges accountable for their decisions.
Taken together, these steps can help build a stronger judiciary system in Texas, one that delivers justice fairly, efficiently, and transparently to all.

In this video, I read Texas Attorney General Opinion JC-0153, authored by John Cornyn, issued in 1999, and discuss what it means for Texas residents. The question posed by Texas Representative was if a contract with the state is valid if a person had to sign the contract under threat, duress, or coercion, of is he or she disagreed with the contract itself. If such conditions and disagreement are noted beneath a person's signature, there is a likelihood that the contract is not a valid contract.
In the video that follows, I'll discuss some considerations of how this opinion may apply to the Child Support Contract with the state.

On June 29, 2022, at the Cafe Republic in Fort Worth, Texas, about 100 people gathered for prayer for Corbin Henderson and his father David. Corbin has cancer, and though he looks well, barring a miracle he has but a few weeks to live.
Despite his very short life expectancy and his desire to see his father, a Tarrant County family court judge permitted David to have two 15-minute facetime calls a day. Once the public found out about this outrageous ruling, they started calling the judge's office. The judge then permitted David three one-hour visits. Corbin's grandparents were granted one 90-minute visit with their grandson.
In this segment, Eric Carroll asks David Henderson how his parents are handling with their not being permitted to see their dying grandson.

During the course of the interview, Errol addressed how the government and the courts are incentivizing fatherlessness, and as a result, the "school-to-prison" pipeline. Errol was also very familiar with abuses that take place under Children Protective and the Foster Care System, and knew that over 80 percent of the children that are being trafficked today came from foster care.
Errol understands the need for BOTH parents to be actively involved in their children's lives and supports parental equality in the courts.

On Thursday, October 7, 2021, about a dozen principled and brave heroes gathered for a news conference, which called on Governor Greg Abbott to protect Texans by adding a call to the special session to pass legislation to stop all vaccine mandates in the state of Texas. After waiting years for a legislator with a moral backbone, second-term Texas House Representative stepped up to the plate and authored House Resolution 238, a resolution to draft articles of impeachment against corrupt Judge Mary Brown of the 301st District Court, Dallas, TX for her indefensible actions against Jeff Younger and his two children, James and Jude Younger.
Let us hope that the House and the Senate will summon the moral courage that they need to do the right thing and impeach this crooked judge and start to clean up the corrupt Texas judicial system so that the people of Texas can start to regain a shred of faith in the system that others tell them to trust.

On Thursday, March 23, 2023, I met domestic abuse survivor Cindy Hiner and found out that she and her children - like a number of others - had been abused by Child Custody Evaluator Dr. Alissa Sherry. With the exception of perhaps one person, I have not met anyone who has spoken positively about Dr. Alissa Sherry. Almost all have talked about how abusive and slanderous she was against them and described her child custody evaluation reports as character assassinations, abusive, and full of lies and slander.
Cindy said that the domestic abuse she suffered does not compare to the abuse the Dr. Alissa Sherry inflicted upon her and her children. It's taken seven years of healing and recovery to give her the courage to speak out against abusive child custody evaluator Dr. Alissa Sherry.
This is a portion of her story as a survivor of Dr. Alissa Sherry.
