This card can be used in multiple ways. The included STL can be printed (preferably in a high contrast multicolor) as a physical reference, or the included DXF can be imported into a CAD software for reference-able dimensions you can leave at your cad station. All dimensions have been pre-toleranced to add 0.2mm of tolerance for nut and screw/screwhead pockets. Swarm has found this tolerance to be optimal for captured nuts and bolts. When looking at the card, the number on the right hand side of the hexagon is the INSCRIBED radius, and the number on the bottom is the CIRCUMSCRIBED radius. You can put the number on the card directly into the polygon sketch dimensions of your CAD software of choice. The numbers to the right hand side of the circle is the bolt head dia-meter and depth, the reg/lock nut dimensions are the required depth for that type of nut. The holes in the circles are appropriately sized to test the diameter of your fasteners without needing calipers, and the hexagons should fit the nut described by that quadrant. There is also a 100mm rule on one edge of the card that can be used as a quick reference tool if the card is printed at the imported dimensions.
