For most of my life, I struggled with weight issues, often resorting to wearing loose clothing to conceal my belly. But when I embraced the keto diet, everything changed. I experienced significant weight loss, and one of the surprising transformations was the simple fact that I could now see my own feet, which were previously obscured by my belly. That's when I truly realized the positive impact of the keto diet on my body.
The key, I've found, is to stick to a clean keto diet and steer clear of carbs. Just a few days of indulging in carbs can quickly bring that belly back. By eliminating carbs and opting for a high-fat diet that includes delicious foods like butter, ghee, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, and avocados, I've managed to maintain a slim belly.
Even during the lockdown, I managed to keep the weight off by staying loyal to the keto diet. I should note that, on keto, eating three meals a day can be quite a challenge for me. Typically, after one meal, I feel completely satiated and rarely have a second. Instead of counting calories or restricting my food intake, I focus on eating until I'm content – a practice that has significantly contributed to my weight loss journey.
My initial weight loss progress was rapid, and within just a couple of months, I shed all those excess pounds. My old clothes no longer fit, and nowadays, I confidently don skin-tight attire that showcases my transformed physique. Currently, I weigh between 60 and 65 kilograms, a far cry from my previous weight of 70 to 80 kilograms.
All in all, my weight loss journey has been a triumph, thanks to my unwavering commitment to the keto diet. It's a journey that has not only transformed my body but also instilled a newfound sense of confidence and comfort in my own skin – and that, my friends, is truly priceless.
