In episode 219 of Semantic Mastery's weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVgUgL82BvQ), one viewer asked how to verify a GMB if it's an online business in a service area market.
The exact question was:
I'm working on a niche that is considered a service area business. However, we are collecting leads of consumers that are seeking this type of service via a website that captures their personal info - sort like a lead gen site. When trying to verify a GMB, I'm getting push back from Google saying that this type of business doesn't meet the guidelines for verification being that this an online business that doesn't meet customers at their locations OR we visit customers at their place of business. Do you have any recommendations as to how to get a GMB verified when the business happens to be an online business in a service area market? According to the LLPro training, we only need a NAP and the requirement that this be for a service area business to get a GMB verified? In other words, wait until the GMB is verified and then pile it up with all the custom optimization you talked about in the training.

In episode 352 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcXoXtJMvxU), one viewer asked how to strategize the content production of a money site with 12 locations & 5 services.
The exact question was:
For a ""Tag Silo"" blog with tags for 12 different locations combined with 5 different services, how different should the content be on each page for each combination? What do you recommend for changing up the content? I've heard I shouldn't ""spin"" content on the money site, right (even though title and meta tags would be different)? Should I do the rewrites myself or hire writers to create the the 60 variations of content?

11:29 What do you think about all the new gTLDs? For a local service provider, Is it good to create a website on URL with one of the new gTLDs? Instead ".com" , using something like: .best/.design/.plumbing For example, Website for a plumber will be www.mike.plumbing Or even more, What about exact match keyword domain, URL like: www.website.design (for website design services) I understand exact match it's not so good, But here with the new gTLDs, we have exact keywords already. It will be a good idea to have a business name "Ashley Flowers Store" combine with the URL "www.wedding.florist"?
19:05 How to NAP and citations if it's for an area base service, And there is no store for the customers? How to create a NAP for a plumber for example?
25:23 can we use MGYB Embeds network for maps, pdf's, websites, etc for non english keywords?
26:00 I know you've said that local organic seo is harder now mainly because of the major local Directories dominating the first page, but, if you wanted to rank your own multi-location local Directory site with strong on-page seo as well as "normal" off-page seo, would it be possible to outrank the major Directly sites since they may not have strong on-page seo for each location and may or may not do extensive off-page seo either?
39:29 a prospect sent me his roofing website for a review, and I noticed that his previous web guys made pages like "Best Roofing Services in Albany" and Best Roofing Services in Utica" and so on, that pattern of multiple cloned pages with just the city being changed. Is this a viable strategy still? It seems too basic a question, but from when I've cloned pages in the past, I've only done it with ad landing pages, not regular site pages. Should there be more differentiation?

The exact question was:
Hey guys, I'm currently trying to get a site ranked in Maps. It's slowly getting higher. The business is a service, but the GMB currently has an address. Would hiding the address by making it a service ruin the current momentum?

In the 394th episode of Semantic Mastery's weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfSRISdUtK8), one participant asked if creating a cloud site across all Jesper integration affect existing branded drive stack, GMB, and press release.
The exact question was:
Hey SM saw your webinar with Jesper, I have a service area business that provides national services and have location pages for all services across the whole country and individual counties. I have a branded drive stack, gmbs, press releases etc along with a branded ID page in s3. Would it damage the entity if I created one cloud site across all Jespers cloud integrations and a gsite per location page and link back to the main branded drive stack in the process. Wanting to drive as much power as possible to help rank all my pages as my industry is super competitive.
