I've heard some Christians say that Christians should not celebrate Halloween. I only wish we had redeemed all the culture as much as we have that day!
There is a lot of theology which is not actually in the Bible when it comes to Early Genesis. For example, the idea that we get our sin nature because we are physically descended from Adam. It is a misunderstanding which hinders people from understanding the cosmology of early Genesis. This topic is just a small part of what is discussed in the book "Early Genesis, the Revealed Cosmology" available on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XRLDYJB

I finally got around to reading "The Unseen Realm". I was prepared to like it, but unfortunately we don't see the two key passages used in the book the same way at all. One of those is in the 82nd Psalm ( Psalm 82:6 in particular ). Here I explain why, in my opinion, M. Heiser has this verse wrong, as well at the 89th Psalm. And if he has one of his two key verses this wrong, it is unlikely that his overall thesis is right.

I have put together some blog posts.......
Here is my written response to his "Naked Bible #249" podcast where he asks whether or not Israelites viewed their judges as Elohim. http://earlygenesistherevealedcosmology.blogspot.com/2020/12/a-fan-of-m-heiser-challenges-me-to.html
Here is a blog post on why I think he has Deuteronomy 32 wrong.... http://earlygenesistherevealedcosmology.blogspot.com/2020/11/michael-heiser-doesnt-have-deuteronomy.html
And why I think he has "Elohim" wrong..... http://earlygenesistherevealedcosmology.blogspot.com/2020/11/nor-does-michael-heiser-have-elohim.html
And probably "Sons of Elohim" wrong as well..... http://earlygenesistherevealedcosmology.blogspot.com/2020/11/michael-heiser-probably-has-sons-of-god.html
I think he over-emphasizes places, or perhaps another way to put it is that he leaves off the very important ending- that they don't matter much now if they ever did because they were used for a purpose which has been fulfilled in Christ. http://earlygenesistherevealedcosmology.blogspot.com/2020/11/the-proper-place-of-places-in-our.html

Accurate labels are important to help people make distinctions and stop talking past one another. When it comes to creationist schools of thought though, we see to have hard time sorting through labels. Some of this is that the side that wants Christians to accept a naturalistic view of bio-origins use overly broad terms as a rhetorical tactic. Here Mark offers suggestions for proper labeling of seven creationist schools of thought.

What is the most troubling passage of scripture in the bible on the subject of women? 1 Corinthians Chapter 11 seems to imply that men are in the image of God but not women. It isn't really saying that, but why isn''t it? This is a hot potato that few want to handle, and when they do, they just seem to barely touch it. A proper view of Genesis 1 and the Image of God resolves this paradox. The Christ-centered approach to Early Genesis is the key.

The bible does not really teach that Adam was the sole father of mankind, or the first biological human. In fact, the account fits better with a Christ-centered model for early Genesis if he isn't. Mark Moore is the author of "Early Genesis, the revealed cosmology" and here he makes the scriptural case that there were other humans outside the garden. This is an improved version of one of his earliest videos.

What are the limits of God's foreknowledge? The Christ-centered model for early Genesis suggests another model besides Molinism, Complete foreknowledge or Open Theism. God is so powerful and so wise that He has a way to both know and not know.

Christophanies or Theophanies are Old Testament appearances of God in human form. Though they have been long-recognized as such in respectable theological circles, it never really made sense that God was hopping in and out of human form throughout the Old Testament. Biologos recently sponsored a forum/webcast on Adam. The concept of "Representative Adam" was not well-thought-of by some of the panelists, William Lane Craig in particular. He is a brilliant man but on this one, he did not have the whole picture. Some views of "Representative Adam" are scripturally sound, other less so. Here I am gently correcting some aspects of his position on this important theological issue.
