REBIRTH - my new album is out now! - listen @ http://jjesusmusic.bandcamp.com REBIRTH is a fusion of reggae guitars and basslines, hip hop beats, and transformative lyrics... This song is about "Desteni" - part of the story of how it started and what was unveiled... There is so much that was left out, but believe I still managed to say a lot. This is the song that was the hardest to write, because it involved research, taking lots of notes -- and then to put it all together in a consice way while being true. It took me months to get it "right", and there were so many verses left out or unfinished... It's OK, I can always make more songs! In the end, the song is about taking responsibility for our lives and create our own Destiny - even when apparently there is a "God" that dictates how things must be. This "God" can be many things: government, money, judgment, fear, anger, jealousy... It is all a reflection of the Mind of man -- so, the question is: can we trust a Mind that is creating the world that we have today? Or should we forgive this hell and create a Heaven for all?
