Sometime during the horrendous year that was 2020 Chris from Harrison's Brewery in Retford (HarryBrew69 on YouTube) popped over to the Boathouse and gave me a few cans of beer from a brewery I'd never heard of. That brewery was Attic. Long story short, I became a massive fan and when I realised they were near one of Birmingham's many canals (more than Venice) I altered our planned course of the Midlands part of our summer escape so we'd accidentally moor nearby... We visited their tap room on Saturday, and I returned on Monday to meet Oli and Sam - thanks guys, it was a true highlight of the Midlands part of this trip.
