Here's how to safely (enough) tow a vehicle if you don't have a second person available to steer and brake the vehicle being towed.
NOT FOR HIGHWAY OR PUBLIC ROAD USE!!! For off-road use only. You are responsible for your own actions. Be careful, accidents happen. Only you can prevent a runaway vehicle.

Here's a very easy fix for frost free hydrants that have water leaking right where the lifting rod extension (shaft or stem) exits the base assembly.
I also have one hydrant that keeps turning itself off. I haven't searched for a fix for this yet, but if you happen to know how to fix that, I'd love to hear it in the comments!
Watch to the end to see a fun thing our Chinese guard goose "Father Goosemas" has started doing every morning during chores. ;)

This class represents three firsts for us: Both the youngest student, the first girl welding student (yay Haddie!), and the first brother-sister class!
Congratulations, and great job Daniel and Haddie! You both did amazingly!
In this class, both Daniel and Haddie went from zero welding experience to being able to lay down some nice weld beads using a 110V MIG welder.
They also learned a lot about how to troubleshoot their own welds based on how the beads look, and what it sounded and felt like when they were welding.
If you want your kids to learn hands-on skills, but lack the time or equipment to teach them yourself, check out the classes we're currently offering at: http://TomWylie.org/HowToClasses

I thought I was going crazy, or that I couldn’t go out to the pasture without losing yet another knife. ?‍♂️?
So much so that I limited myself to $25 for the replacement knife I bought, figuring it was probably going to get lost as well.
That all changed with what I discovered today. ?
My favorite knives thus far:
Longtime EDC:
Kershaw Leek, Black Serrated Pocket Knife (1660CKTST); 3 inch Partially Serrated 14C28N Steel Blade https://a.co/d/dXsRFoN
Replacement that I really like and am still carrying for now:
Smith & Wesson Oasis SW421 8.1in High Carbon S.S. Folding Knife with a 3.5in Drop Point Blade https://a.co/d/9LTnpgu
