While the spiritual journey is not linear, most of us learn to pray just like little children. We learn the vocabulary and grammar of life with God. We say, "Daddy." We say, "Mommy." So to God, we say, "Our Father who is in heaven…" But there comes a time when we desire a more personalized relationship with God. So, we begin intuitively to talk with God. In other words, we talk with Him to tell him what’s on our hearts and minds.
Speaking in tongues remains a divisive and controversial topic among churches today. However, it is important to understand the true significance of the historical event known as Pentecost, as described in the Book of Acts. Join PB as he discusses this topic, drawing from Acts 2:1-13. Feel free to invite your loved ones and friends as well.

Principles of Transformation | By Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
43 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. 45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Luke 6:43-45)
We all want to change to become better people. But often we do it in the wrong way. We start by changing behavior. We do this to ourselves as well as to others. In psychology, this is called a behavioral modification. We use techniques and strategies to change behavior so that people will become better. Although there is some good to it, by itself it will not be effective in the long run. People have to be transformed from the inside out.

12 Many bulls surround me; strong bulls of Bashan encircle me. 13 Roaring lions that tear their prey open their mouths wide against me. 14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted within me. 15 My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death. 16 Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. 17 All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. 18 They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment. (Psalm 22:12-18)
By nature, we all tend to rely on our capabilities to navigate the many challenges in our lives. We often believe that we are strong enough and wise enough to overcome. But then we find ourselves in situations that are beyond our capacities. God allows this by His grace so that we will recognize our need for Him.

Main Idea: “We only cry for God's salvation when we reach our limitation.” (“Hinihingi lang natin ang kaligtasan ng Diyos kapag nasa dulo na tayo ng ating limitasyon.”)
When do we realize we are in need of God?
Three Situations
1. When we sense Danger and Threat (vv.12-13).
2. When we become aware of Weaknesses and Fears (vv.14-15).
3. When we realize our Vulnerability and Helplessness (vv.16-18).

Text: Psalm 35:1-28
We are often unaware of the things that need to be transformed in us. Although we are aware of some of our faults, we are not fully aware of the extent of our sinfulness which hinders us from loving God and others the way the Lord wants us to. This is the reason why God allows specific experiences to come upon us to purify us. At first, we may resent them or question God for allowing such things to happen. But if we trust God, knowing He loves us, we must be willing to let God purify us.

False Accusations | By Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
1 Lord my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, 2 or they will tear me apart like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me. 3 Lord my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands—4 if I have repaid my ally with evil or without cause have robbed my foe—5 then let my enemy pursue and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and make me sleep in the dust. 6 Arise, Lord, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God; decree justice. 7 Let the assembled peoples gather around you, while you sit enthroned over them on high. 8 Let the Lord judge the peoples. Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High. 9 Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure—you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts. 10 My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart. 11 God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day. 12 If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. 13 He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. 14 Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment. 15 Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. 16 The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads. 17 I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High. (Psalm 7:1-17)
A false accusation is a difficult situation. We are often tempted to defend ourselves or even to fight back. Sometimes we look for a third party who can side with us against the person who is accusing us. This results in further complications. It can become very messy. Relationships can be destroyed when this type of situation is not handled properly. The word of God teaches us a better way to handle false accusations. We need to learn how to respond.

The Christian faith is personal, but it is never individualistic. We are not meant to just follow the Lord on our own, praying and reading the Scriptures, without being connected with others in the body of Christ. God's grace is poured out not just on us individually but also when we gather together as God's people through various sacred activities. In fact, there are four sacred activities where God pours out His grace in special ways only because we are together in the presence of the Lord. To miss these activities is to miss out on the possible special outpouring of God's grace during such times.

Text: Luke 11:14-28
It's easy to rely on human wisdom or skill to do ministry. But this is not the will of God for us. We may see some results, but they do not glorify God. Our desire should be to see the kingdom of God at work in people's lives.

Central Idea: “Our desire should be to see the kingdom of God at work in people's lives.” (“Ang dapat maging hangad natin ay makita ang kaharian ng Diyos na kumikilos sa buhay ng mga tao.”)
How can we be confident that God's kingdom is at work in people's lives?
Three Types of Evidence
1. The work of Satan is being reversed (vv.14-20).
2. People are being rescued and brought to Jesus (vv.21-23).
3. Believers are remaining and growing in their faith in Jesus (vv.24-28).
