On Saturday 13 May 2023, 11 motorcycles from the Canadian Veteran Freedom Riders Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound rode on a 3 hour trip around our beautiful countryside, before stopping for Wing-Night at the Royal Canadian Legion in Tara Ontario Canada. A great day of riding, camaraderie and an awesome meal was had by all our members who attended. A special thanks to our comrade Steve aka Pipeman for organizing/coordinating this awesome ride day. CVFR BGOS have a great summer 2023 ride schedule in place with two weekend trips, along with many other events throughout the 2023 summer ride season. Ride safe all and hope to see you on the open road.

A very special presentation was held on Saturday 23 Sept 2017, where two shadow boxes and three miniature sets of medals were presented to Bob & Carol Mitchell, "Silver Cross" parents. Bob & Carol's son Cpl Robert T. James Mitchell was killed in action in Afghanistan on 3 Oct 2006.
