Today, I explain the difference between libraries, playlists, and presentations in ProPresenter 7. I started by discussing libraries, which are like filing cabinets used for organizing different types of content. Each ministry or category can have its own library, making it easy to store and reuse specific content. I demonstrated how to search for songs across libraries and previews them before adding them to playlists.
Next, I explained playlists, which are like an order of worship for a specific service or week. They are used to organize the sequence of presentations within a particular event.
Finally, I defined presentations as individual collections of slides, like PowerPoint presentations in other software. ProPresenter's advantage is the ability to seamlessly transition between presentations within a playlist.
Throughout the video, Paul shares best practices and helpful tips for using libraries, playlists, and presentations effectively in ProPresenter 7.

http://TrinityDigitalMedia.com/church-tech Organizing your data in Propresenter 5
Let's say that you need to clear off space from your presentation computer or organize old media. How can you do that quickly and easily?
What if you want to keep a copy of all your songs on a thumbdrive just in case? It's not hard to copy all the songs over, but you need to know where they are. I'll show you that today.

Here are the latest questions:
In Pro5 and/or Pro6 what font and size would you recommend? I am currently toying with the font sizes and want to have a good size that so not feel like I am blasting the congregation with the words but want to make it readable. So can you please help and give me some advise that will be a great help. I have been doing the tech for about 13 years at my church and dealt with all the major software.

On today's Tech, No Babel: Live streaming myths
I recently wrote an article for Church Production Magazine called "AS STREAMING GOES MAINSTREAM, MYTHS GROW" (http://www.churchproduction.com/story/main/as-streaming-goes-mainstream-myths-grow/) and I thought I'd talk a little about those myths here. Make sure you follow that link to read the whole story.

http://trinitydigitalmedia.com/churchtech On today's Tech Help for Churches, Podcast Names and RSS Feeds
Podcast Names
It actually matters what you name a podcast episode. You want a name that's searchable, but there is extraneous information that might not be helpful. I'd try and add google keywords to the title so that it helps, steering clear of synonyms that are less-used.
Adding the date helps viewers to know if they've already consumed the content or not (for example if a episode happened before a certain date, they might not know that they've listened because of the title, but might know that they had listened to everything before June 2014).
Episode numbers aren't as helpful. Here's why. They mean different things to different people. Is episode 301 the 301st episode or is it the first episode of season 3? How many episodes are in a season if so? It might only a few, so 301 could be the 11th episode if it's the first of season three and seasons one and two only had 5 episodes each. The podcaster might feel good about the number of episodes, but does it tell the audience member anything that looking at the episode list wouldn't?

http://TrinityDigitalMedia.com It's never too late to start over.
There's a common saying that "winners never quit and quitters never win," but the fact is that whenever you realize you're on the wrong road, the most sensible thing to do is stop and start going the right direction.
The sooner you quit the wrong thing, the better because each moment you delay, you'll be farther away from where you should have been.
Imagine someone in college who could stop being premed. Isn't that easier than quitting medical school which is an easier thing to do than change careers in residency and so on. Time is not your friend when you're on the wrong road; going the wrong direction.
