Randomly was reminded of this online friend I had years ago that had wild mood swings from victim mentality to extreme lack of self esteem, and how I don't know if it was better or more destructive for me to stay in contact with her, VS blocking her like I eventually did. The perils of being friends with someone who is often on the verge of "unal*ving themselves" is manifold, and I think you have to struggle to set limits for yourself and try not to let yourself feel responsible for their struggles (as long as you're not actually, like, bullying or manipulating them). But I know that's way easier said than done ?
If this PoS actually cared about its citizens and provided free and easy-to-access #mentalHealthcare to its people, that would help a lot. As it is, it takes a lot of time, money and energy to find and establish #therapy, and that's assuming you can even find a therapist who doesn't make you feel WORSE (as I often hear stories about... *CoughBetterHelpIsACorruptScam*
There are "unal*ving helplines" you can call, but I've had friends call it and say it doesn't do anything to help. I do think a great start to helping people would be if we could TALK ABOUT THIS SHEET WITHOUT ST*PID F**KING #ALGORITHMS #CENSORING US AS IF WE ARE ARGUING IN *SUPPORT* IF AB*SE, but I expect that to happen about the same time that Republicans vote for #medicareForAll ?
