Why is it that some of us are bored? We are barely holding on to each day, hoping we will survive every working day, doing what we can to make our lives a little more interesting every now and then. Sometimes life can be exciting but only for a short while. Soon the realities will come rushing back into our minds and hearts discouraging and boring us once again. "What's the use?" we say to ourselves. "Nothing will change." How can we overcome this perennial doubt in our hearts? It's time for us to become dreamers and doers, not doubters!

When we gather together to study God's word, we have the opportunity to learn from one another, gaining different perspectives and insights. It allows us to deepen our understanding of the scriptures and helps us to apply its teachings in our daily lives. By engaging in group study, we can encourage and support one another, holding each other accountable in our faith journey. Additionally, studying with others fosters a sense of community and unity, as we come together to seek God's truth and wisdom. It is through these shared experiences that we can grow in our relationship with God and with one another. So, let us embrace the discipline of studying the Bible with others, for it is through this collective effort that we can truly experience the transformative power of God's word. #biblestudy

Good morning, everyone! The title of Day 3 of RLCC Daily Devo is: "The Temptation to Love the World More Than God"
Our Scripture passage is: Genesis 18:16-29
Meditation: When God threatened to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham became deeply concerned. His nephew Lot was living there. Abraham prayed, hoping that God would spare the cities for the sake of his nephew. But even Lot and his family were hesitant to leave these cities. Similarly, our love for the world can become a temptation that leads us to deviate from our mission. Thankfully, God is righteous and just, and He will rescue us from worldliness.
Personal Application: Reflect on your own life and any areas where worldly concerns have taken precedence over your commitment to God's mission. Consider how you can realign your priorities and choose righteousness and justice over the attractions of the world.
Prayer: Lord, help me to examine my heart and recognize where my love for the world has hindered my mission for You. Grant me the strength to prioritize righteousness and justice, seeking first Your kingdom. Thank You for Your righteousness and justice, which rescues us from the temptations of the world. In Jesus' name, amen.

Our job is what we do to earn a living, but our mission is why we exist in this world. We need to live in view of our mission instead of just living for our occupation. But how do we know our mission? The calling of Abraham gives us a picture or pattern of what a mission from God looks like. Today, we want to look at Genesis 12:1-9 to understand “The Anatomy of A Mission from God.”

Leadership is all about managing one's credibility to influence others for the common good to the glory of God. We are all uniquely placed by God in various places to influence others. We are all saved to lead. Therefore, all of us have the potential to practice leadership. Unfortunately, not all of us are doing this right now. As a result, we're not doing the good works we're supposed to do to glorify God. The reason for this is simple: Most of us think that leadership is a position or a title. No wonder many of us don't want to become leaders at all.

4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. (Psalm 1:4-5)
Sometimes people are not aware that they are wasting their lives. They continue living as if God does not exist or He does not matter. Consequently, their lives are on a spiral downwards. It's important to notice the signs of a wasted life so that we can turn and repent before it's too late. In His mercy, God wants us to turn to Him and surrender our lives to Him so that our lives will not end up wasted.
