In 1964, California resident Donald Shrum was bow hunting in the Tahoe National Forest in the Sierra Nevada Mountains when a building-sized flying cylinder appeared in the sky above him. A small scout saucer exited the giant craft and landed near his position. Soon, two humanoid occupants of the craft appeared and - with the help of a 1950s comic book-style robot - attempted to remove Shrum from the top of the tree in which he was perched.
