The King of Fighters 2002 Hack (KOF 2002, Neogeo arcade), Kensou Changes 1, ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ 2002
The King of Fighters 2002 (kof2002, neogeo arcade) - ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ 2002 チャレンジ トゥ アルティメットバトル
Today I show you the first changes made to Kensou on this The King of Fighters 2002 Hack, he just like many other characters lacks Max Mode combos, at least combos that you can pull out in matches, because he has some exotic combos with cancels and all that kind of stuff that is very unlikely to be executed in a real match. Once more, the whole damage problem happens here, but it is better to tackle it later. For now, the changes made to Kensou are:
RDP + D: 1st hit no longer causes a pushback.
RDP + D: 2nd hit no longer causes a pushback.
QCB + A (Air): Last hit can now be cancelled into a DM / SDM.
QCB + C (Air): Last hit can now be cancelled into a DM / SDM.
As you can see, now he has a full Max Mode combo in the corner and he has a reduced Max Mode combo in every part of the screen, this gives him a lot of possibilities now, again with a bigger variety of combos, the kind of change I like so the character doesn't end up doing the same thing over and over again. These changes also make Kensou more dangerous in case you make a big mistake against him.
Gameplay of Final Fight Anniversary Edition Mad Gear's City done online on Fightcade, a hack made using a tool called FFAEE.
Player 1 rato (Cody)
Player 2 me (Guy)
This time the gameplay was almost perfect, maybe we can do no death next time.
This is a test of a hack of the arcade game Fighter's History Dynamite or Karnov's Revenge.
In this video, I tested the new version of Karnov, he got a new move Super 100 Attack, which is his super and the execution is QCB-HCF + Punch.
His infinite got fixed, now he can't infinite anymore and his teleport bug also got fixed, which in some way nerfs his gameplay.
To compensate for the telerport bug fix, I had the idea of instead of having a bug that teleports him, this bug could be transformed into a feature, so he also got another new move, it is called Glitch because its idea came from a bug and its execution is FDP + K and RDP + K.
Stay tuned for gameplays of the other characters.
This is just some minor changes made to Chris, if you play KOF 2002, you know that one of the major problems with Chris is that he doesn't do much damage, so he got some extra DM cancels to allow him to do bigger max mode combos and improve his overall damage.
Some of the changes made are:
QCF + A: It now only knockdows down if the enemy is in the air, and in case of knockdown, the opponent can take more hits for a short period of his falling animation, similart to robert F + B.
QCF + C: Startup reduced in 4 frames so you can combo out of it, it still causes knockdown no matter what, but now the opponent can take more hits for a short period of time when he is falling.
HCB + A/B/C/D: The 1st hit of it is now similar to QCF + A, if hit on air you have a small window to still keep connecting more hits.
HCB + C: 2nd hit can now be DM canceled.
2x QCB B/D/BD: The DM and SDM version hit behavior was changed in a way that if you hit the opponent in the air, it mostly like will connect the other hits instead of throwing the opponent high to the air and missing everything, doing no damage and being exposed to combos.
Those are the changes for now, maybe other changes could be made or maybe this is enough.
Pirates of Dark Water Readjusted (SNES) - ザ・パイレーツ・オブ・ダークウォーター
Pirates of Dark Water Readjusted is a hack of the SNES beat'em up Pirates of Dark Water game. In this hack both players can select the same character without a need of a cheat code, all 2nd colors are changed and the limit of enemies spawning at the same time is 4 instead of 3, which increases the difficulty of the game.
The Super Nintendo hardware is somewhat limited, so it is a good idea to overclock the CPU if you want to play this game without slowdowns.
Tula is the weakest character, but also the fastest one, because she is so fast, you can exploit the cancel bugs with her way better than any other character, which is a plus for her considering the weaker character in beat'em ups also tend to not be a good character. Playing Tula has its challenge since you need to be very technical to be able to have good results with her.
Gameplay Settings
Player: Me (Tula, 1CC)
Difficulty: Hard
Another gameplay that I could pull out only a 1CC, I can't get a no death for now, I need to improve a lot to be able to do that.
Gameplay of Captain Commando Readjusted v1.1 on Hardest difficulty done online on Fightcade. Not the most optimal gameplay, but it is 1cc anyways.
At 18:30, because we killed all enemies before reaching the gate, the game softlocked for 2 minutes, I had that bug other times, just skip to 20:40.

I guess we should try to get better results next time.
Almost 1 hour more of Karnov's Revenge Revolution testing matches.
Once more the matches are between my brother (P1) and me (P2), just to ensure everything is working fine.
I think this hack might be ready for a first version release, it will probably happen soon.
Ghost Sweeper Mikami: Joreishi ha Nice Body / GS Mikami (gsmikami) - GS美神 〜除霊師はナイスバディ〜
We are almost at the end of the Halloween Series, and I bring you today Ghost Sweeper Mikami: Joreishi ha Nice Body (GS美神 〜除霊師はナイスバディ〜), a SNES platformer game that was released only in Japan, a game based on a manga also called Ghost Sweeper Mikami. In this game, you play with Reiko Mikami, a beautiful young lady who literally works as a ghost hunter, she has a company in that sector and charges quite a lot for her services. The game has mainly 7 stages, for each stage you have a boss, and after you defeat the boss, he drops a jewel that Reiko Mikami puts in a mini statue or whatever that thing is, it looks very precious. After Mikami defeats all bosses, collects all jewels, and adds them to the statue, what actually happens is that it awakens a powerful creature (final boss), and now Mikami has to defeat this creature, when Mikami defeats the creature, the game ends.
My thoughts about this game is that it is one of the best platformers I have ever played. This one is, for sure, a game you should check out. It is not a hard game, but there are some parts that are very tricky, like that cat stage and the broom stage. The mechanics of the game is great, it is very smooth, so it feels very good playing it.
This is the 4th game of the Halloween Series, it is not just a great game, but its horror theme makes it a great pick to play on Halloween, you will for sure have a great time playing it. It would be amazing if we had a randomizer for this game, to give a new face to it.
Alien vs. Predator 1v3 Hack (avsp) - エイリアンVSプレデター
Today I bring you guys more hacks as expected. Alien vs. Predator 1v3 Hack is a hack of the arcade beat'em up game Alien vs. Predator. Like all 1vX hacks out there, the objective of this hack is to force all objects / enemies that spawn when 3 players are playing to spawn every time, even if only one player is playing, which means that all the enemies and all objects will always spawn.
If you're not playing with the maximum amount of players, those kinds of hacks tend to be harder than the original because you will have to face more enemies, and of course, more food will also spawn, making things more fair. Another thing to take into consideration is that the AI is smarter when there are more players for most of these old beat'em ups, again increasing the difficulty of the game.
Gameplay Settings
Player: Me (mostly Major D. Schaefer, many coins)
Difficulty: Normal
Another beat'em up that I am not good at, we will see if I can improve at this one. This beat'em up is a little bit different than most other beat'em ups because it is the kind of beat'em up where you will be shooting enemies instead of beating them a lot of the time.
Well, I would say that if you like this game and you want a new challenge, 1vX hacks are the way to go. For some games, it is the first step towards a harder version of the original game with minimum changes in the assembly of the game.
Nightmare In The Dark (nitd) - ナイトメア・イン・ザ・ダーク
The next game from the Halloween Special series is Nightmare In The Dark, a single screen platform game released in 2010, very similar to Snow Bros. The plot is very simple, it is all about grave keepers protecting graveyards from evil creatures. There are 5 worlds with 5 levels, defeat all creatures in the level and you go to the next one, keep doing that until you reach the final boss, defeat it, and you beat the game.
For those who enjoy single screen games like Snow Bros., this for sure might be one more game in this style to play.
The gameplay happened on Fightcade between:
Player 1: ThePuddingKeeper
Player 2: Me
This game is not a hard game at all, as you can see, I didn't play that badly considering I played this game very few times and I got an average result, I would say I could 1CC this one with just a few more attempts.
This is the second game in the Halloween Special series, with more to come until the end of Halloween.
