This mission feels worlds different from the GBA version. With Hawke not being trigger happy on his power, it is possible to make a lot more inroads on fronts other than Andy's (Hyper Upgrade OP). This allows Sonja to make a lot of progress on her front as she has the least going on and thus suffers the most from Hawke's powers.
Overall, this is one of the missions that usually suffers when multiple COs are involved as I prefer to send the Yellow Comet out with a rocket to blast the seam and they only have a small island's worth of enemies to deal with. Here, we somehow get through the blockade of units in the bottleneck and manage to actually have Eagle deliver the coup de grace. As a result, I am able to get a perfect power score, and it turns out we were time efficient which just boggles the mind. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzhBz8u6FIo
We make the jump on Beatrix's route, which plays out significantly different from previous attempts. We get a clue for shutting down Dai, but we will have to wait to use it...

With the previous case resolved, Tyrion finds himself at the place where his entire story has started. We kick things off with a chess tournament that is going to play a bigger picture than initially assumed. From there, we get to meet the old familiar faces who will end up being players in the case at hand.

Much like our foray into the Wild West, we are under a time limit here. With each striking of the bell, the place grows darker. You can easily loot this place within the time limit once you know where to find everything. However, I had something else in mind, so it was imperative to get Sundown's weapon immediately. Something needed a reminder of who is the biggest baddest thing that goes bump in the night...

This map took forever to fight, but it is largely the same as normal mode. The volcano does the same thing at the same intervals, with the only difference being that Hawke has bigger units initially and can get a deeper earlier claim. Jess is able to go blow for blow with him, only needing to step back after he uses his powers. Just try to prevent him from getting too deep early, then you can push him off the map. The end of the Green Earth campaign is near...

As my voice has not improved from the previous video, I opted to do these without commentary. Since I am not sure if my performance has been negatively influenced by being sick, I am steering clear of ranked and just doing daily stuff to keep gathering resources for future Pokemon acquisitions.

There are a pair of ranked games here as I was feeling a little bold. We kick things off with my most recent acquisition, Wigglytuff. Sadly, this game is almost a mirror match due to how closely both sides resemble one another, making a somewhat rough game on paper.
Next up is Gardevoir where I am trying to bring the DPS for the team. Unfortunately, I am paired with one of the many Lucarios I despise, so the lane is extremely passive as we try to stay relevant. This one doesn't pick up until the team fights start to break out.
Finally, we have the quick match with Absol. I don't own him, so I am trying to get some use out of the free week. Basically, this is just me wrapping up the daily missions/challenges.
Then when it is all said and done, Wigglytuff ceases to be my most recent acquisition as someone else takes that title...

Another video where I am still working on the Light Bowgun as I think I will be gunning while in multiplayer (have to use blades in single player to farm tails). Goals in this video were to learn the damages and try to learn some of the patterns. This is essentially a build up to tomorrow's video where I go solo and kill everything...

In the event the daily video is too long for you, here is something more bite sized. We bring Kanbei into Grit at Moji Island and it is really a contest of trying to rush him before he can get his bottlenecks set up. Interestingly, if he had a better starting economy and AI, he could set up a killzone outside your HQ that would be fairly difficult to overcome. To see what I mean, you'll have to wait until I do this one on BHR.
The goal here is to secure the two forward bases so we have outposts to move out from. Our direct combat units will obliterate Grit's, making it difficult for him to get some walls in place. With the openings we generate, we want to stop his infantry from securing properties to restrict his economy. Then while ours grows and his stagnates, we push through for the win.
You can see the results of the third map here because I recorded that before buying the maps in Hachi's shop. I aim to get the third one out tomorrow to wrap up the first Advance Wars entirely.
