Lost Treasures returned for a third season of 8 entirely new programs on ITV Granada screening in 2008. The program was once again presented by distinctive ‘adventure archaeologist’ Mark Olly who traversed the region in search of Lost Treasures unearthed by anyone who had an interest in regional history, mystery, folklore and archaeology. The tapestry of history which is the city of Manchester gives up some of its secrets and we go in search of the greatest Lost Treasure of them all – the human soul.
