What a dam shame Butlins pulled the plug on Russ and Skeggy is no more but I will keep posting the odd video to keep the memory alive. My name is Ralph I recently retired having reached the landmark age of 65 “what do I do now ?” is the question I asked myself. What do I enjoy the most well that was easy to answer I love to dance and I love to listen to Northern Soul this love of the above started what seems a lifetime ago in the late 60’s when I discovered a small dark and dirty place called THE CATACOMBS for those with really good memories UP THE JUNCTION and the scene was cast that would frame my life. I missed The Wigan Casino and The Mecca which had only just started as the TORCH closed followed quickly by THE CATACOMBS I naturally came to the conclusion that the world was about to end. However, at that very same moment, I met my future wife to be and the world didn't end, in fact, after meeting her on a blind date some 46 years ago we celebrate 43 years married in August. Northern Soul T ha become my passion putting something back with my videos creating memories for people to look back on in future years fondly.
