The level begins with a Spike Top and Swoopers. In a zone with blocks, you’ll find the first A Coin. After a Buzzy Beetle and a Paratroopa, enter the pipe ahead. In the next room, you’ll see a floor that will sink into the lava when stepped on. Hit the ? Block to reveal a Star. The more enemies in a row knocked out while invincible, the more points you’ll get. You'll find the 2nd A Coin as you race along. The pipe ahead leads to the room with the checkpoint. The 3rd A Coin is after a purple block in a low ceiling. The 4th A Coin is above green blocks by a Paratroopa. After 2 Buzzy Beetles, remove a purple block and get the last A Coin at the dead end. After an arrow sign with a Buzzy Beetle, you’ll, see a Chargin’ Chuck throwing footballs and you’ll find the goal.

In this underground level, cross a big hole and you’ll encounter 3 Goombas in a garbage block tunnel. Hit invisible blocks and the garbage block above them to reveal a vine that will take you to a Warp Zone so you can go to either World 6, 7, or 8. If you’re still underground, you can go down one pipe for coins or continue ahead by crossing platforms going down. Continue ahead and you’ll see a Buzzy Beetle. A Buzzy Beetle cannot be harmed by fireballs. After 2 Koopas under a set of garbage blocks, you can stay above ceiling to go the Warp Zone that leads to World 5 or use the pipe by the wall to return to the surface so you can use the big stairway that leads to the flagpole.

Go up some ladders and you’ll see Hoopsters as well as some battle tanks. Go to the top and enter the boss room to take on the cyborg killer. Hit it with the peg 3 times so you can grab the magic plane and open the gate.
