Among the many questions I have ask Cris Bamboo one was Why Bamboo wall thickness varies in the bamboo poles. He explains it in this video.
Each bamboo stalk has various thicknesses. The nearer the base the thicker the stalk. With that is consideration when a piece of bamboo is used The first 4-6 feet are are used to make support structure, the next 20 feet as flooring. The thinner walled top section is used as will covering.
Now I understand what the youngest brother told me when he sai. " We look at a piece of bamboo and know where we will use the pieces.

Our Filipino Relatives Help Us. Myra going to her internship is a bit more expensive than we anticipated. When her family heard about it, they came to the rescue. There was to talking about it, and no discussion with me. I did not even know it was going to happen. Rex, the boy's uncle on their father's side just showed up ready to work with money collected from a few other relatives and Christine's father. His goal take care of the rent next door and help Daryl and Christine become independent from my help. That way I would have more funds available to pay Myra's transportation and expenses while on the road to the various courts where she will be assigned. Myra's internship now consists of her assuming duties as a public defender. She is doing fine and her review is going great.
This is nice to show everyone Philippine families help goes both ways, receiving and giving.

I was some what restricted in my videoing. At the end of this video he told me I should only video where Myra was and take pictures with her in the picture . Thus Part 2. This is the same mall I videoed the " Cooking Top Salesman "

I looked out of the trike, on my way home from videoing the Nipa Hut Construction and couldn't believe it. I saw several young Americans cleaning the streets of our subdivision. First time in over two and a half years I saw an American under 54 years old. WOW they still do exist. These missionaries from the Church of the Latter Day Saints were on a civic duty mission with the local barangay. They walked all through the subdivision with brooms and bags picking up roadside trash..
The local Filipina girls were all smiles. I think the young woman assumed all Americans were born 50 years old. LOL. I heard several of the girls saying, " LOOK young foreigners. "
What a nice group and with good purpose to represent the USA. I thank the Church of the Later Day saints and these young people for their appearance and help. One of my bigger surprises seeing young Mormons in the Philippines

They went to the water falls then through the rock formation. Without more than a breather the next destination was 'mountain' climbing Myra was tired and at the end of this video handed the camera over to Fay. As you will hear in the next video .. Fay was just as tired, but she wanted to 'man' the camera and she took it and headed uphill.
