We are all here temporarily and no one will get out of this world alive. This video aims to reflect on the events of the last month while without forgetting that it's Easter. Due to the global pandemic, easter looks quite different for most of us this year. We cannot get together the way we normally would. Social distancing has become mandatory in most places as we're fighting an invisible enemy. But who knows if what we are doing is the best course of action? Ultimately we're all going to die. Many of our most vulnerable have already enjoyed longer than average lifespans, which could be seen as a privilege. The main thing may be to maintain a positive outlook and enjoy the outdoors, without socializing, as hard as this may be.

In this video, Jorg Schlagheck is engaging in a heated debate with a guy by the name Rodney, about bike lanes in general, and more specifically Edmonton’s new “Bike Plan” that has received substantial funding in cities’s newest budget.
Rodney Carbonelli is a fictional character, made up from comments that were left by viewers like you. So this is my unique way of responding to negative comments about prioritizing bicycle infrastructure.

Recorded on Canadian Thanksgiving weekend I have a lot to be thankful for.
My DJI mini 2 is once again fully functional, thanks in huge part to YouTube.
This video shows some of my most recent drone footage. Fall colours of The Athabasca River, near Slave Lake, Mitsue Lake and Smith, Alberta.
I share some thoughts about fall and about how we can gain a better appreciation for the eco system we depend on.
Lastly, I’m offering my recorded drone footage for free download.

Germany's Ruhr Valley Region used to be a purely industrial metropolis. More recently it has transformed itself into a cyclist's paradise. Railroads were turned into bicycle trails and Beer gardens popped up. Many of the old industrial installations remain as a reminder of a different time. We took relaxed ride near Duisburg and Walsum, where we crossed the Rhine River twice.
