Beautiful iconic 2 player game from Gottlieb circa 1976. This game was quickly brought to market and is essentially a Gottlieb Pioneer but with an add-a-ball twist. They only made 300 of this title to commemorate Pinball coming back into New York after many decades of being banned as gambling devices. It has the typical 9 credit credit wheel in the backglass but they put a star'd sticker on a white plastic boot to cover it to get around the "no replay" law. The great thing is you can win credits and/or extra balls with this title. Just no adding stacking them up like your typical add-a-ball. This title you can only earn one extra ball per ball. Unique double double center hole which if on the last ball AND you get all the drop targets down AND you hit a lit star rollover AND if it lights the center hole for double bonus THEN you get 4 times bonus score from that center hole. Build up your bonus on that ball and try and do it again. VERY TOUGH to accomplish but so rewarding when you do! We put over 60 hrs of restoration work into this game: rebuilt all the pop bumpers with new mechs and new skirts,bodies,caps and likewise with the flipper assemblies. All metal buffed to a mirror shine even the internal chime bars! Oh yeah and we of course rebuilt the chime box so that it gives our trademark "pleasing melodic after ring". We installed a new plastic set as well as all new white posts, new tempered glass, premium Titan silicone rubber. Rebuilt all the steppers and cleaned and adjusted all the numerous switch stacks for years of fun and reliability.
