I think we got it right this time round, we are pumping science and upgrades. I think the next plan would be to expand our population even further and triple down on both. Though the combat aspect is not really pulling me in yet.
Petroleum rockets with solid oxylite are fairly straight forward and make a decent intermediate rocket type. We replace our steam rockets immediately.

More expansion prep, this time it is O2 production. This also requires me to rewire everything and re-pipe everything. All of it was a complete mess form the achievement hunting but it's all tidied up now and I think we are finally ready to tackle space properly.

Making a how industrial sauna caused quite a few new problems that needed to be adapted to. Trying to make an Ultra cold industrial brick is also causing huge issues as well. How do make a liquid lock that does not immediately freeze being one of the big issues. To try and save on super coolant I try putting together a liquid lock built out of O2, you only have 30C of temperature where it's liquid to work with which makes things a little difficult. But despite all the time and effort you have to put in to trying to get it to work it's still way to much fun not to try. Some designs I will end up sinking way more time into than is sane, but I like to try taking some things to the extreme because at the end of the day it is a game and we all just want to have fun.

Fish is meat in this game, I know that some religions say fish is not meat but the game is the game. Also on the same note where does that leave whales? I mean they are mammals but they live in the sea. Also dolphins, seals, crocodiles and alligators!! Oh what about frogs. I'm not sure I want to think about this any harder this feels like a rabbit hole.
Turns out Incubatorium is sort of a real word, but only in science fiction. You won't find it in the dictionary, so I suppose technically it's not a real word. But I'm ok with using it. That is the only way to describe the quantity of incubators we are running. I can't imagine trying to power all of this legitimately this early in the game. It would take 7.5 KW just for the incubators.

Artillery are amazing. Though I think we may have not played the game quite the way it was intended. When you own the whole map it's a little easier to slow down the incoming hordes and unleash the full power of a maxed out mech. I'm interested to give the Survival mode a run it looks like it would be very very difficult, well at least until you get the hang of it.

If I'm going to be using the sour gas boiler for it's water I need to be able to burn it all straight away. That is a lot of heat and piping to deal with, it will require 50-60 nat gas generators to meet my requirements. Should really point out this is well beyond the sanity stage, max dupes is the priority.

This episode feels odd, Randy does not spank the bejesus out of me. No one dies. Events are small and manageable. I don't think I even broke a sweat. Lots of construction projects get completed. Weapons and Bionics get mass produced. At the end of the episode we get a great quest. I am really confused and concerned. Is this payment for all the previous horrors? or is this just a loan I'm going to have to pay for later.

God damm it, one step forward 6 pawns back. Not exactly my most shining moment, those ambushes are absolutly crippling. I think the only way to handle them is to only send in one pawn and then just eat the loss if you have to. Any other method is to risky, there is no safe way to take on 28 enemies with good weapons.
