24-year-old Damar Hamlin says he feels grateful to be alive in a Good Morning America interview with Michael Strahan. Damar Hamlin: And Action! Michael Strahan: Buffalo Bills safety Demar Hamlin has come a long way since collapsing on the field during Monday Night Football just 6 weeks ago. Announcer: Now another Bill's player is down. Maybe Hamlin? Michael Strahan: The 24-year-old surviving sudden Cardiac Arrest as millions watched on live television. Announcer: Well this is the last thing you want to see. Michael Strahan: Let's go back to January 2nd how are you feeling before the game and when you're out there, normal? Damar Hamlin: Super normal. Feeling great! Michael Strahan: Can you tell me what you remember about the game up until the hit? Damar Hamlin: I remember the things that we were focused on going into the game. Just trying to get a win. Michael Strahan: So in the course of the game you have the hit, you make the tackle, do you remember standing up after you make that tackle? Damar Hamlin: Uhm, that's something I don't really want to get into deep into, in the details of. Michael Strahan: Why do you think your recovery so remarkable? Damar Hamlin: First and foremost just, just God, just a blessing you know. I'm just thankful he gave me a second chance, you know, just to live normally and just, you know, not even, just come out almost without a scratch on me, just to be able to keep going. Michael Strahan: After Hamlin was discharged from the ICU the question on so many minds, what caused his heart to stop beating. Michael Strahan: Your 24, peak physical condition, can run circles around me right now, How did doctor describe what happened to you? Damar Hamlin: Um, Um. That's something I want to stay away from. Michael Strahan: I know from my experience, the NFL, they do more tests than anything. And in the course of you having your physical, did anybody ever come back with any, saying to had a heart issue or anything that was abnormal. Damar Hamlin: Honestly, no. I've always been a healthy, young, fit, energetic, you know, human being, let alone athlete. So, it was something that was just, that we're still processing and I'm still talking through with my doctors just to see what everything was. The election committee of the Arizona Senate held a hearing on January 23, 2023 featuring the results of an investigation into Maricopa County’s 2022 midterm election conducted by the election integrity group We the People AZ (WPAZ). Commissioned by outgoing Senate President Karen Fann (R-Prescott), the group submitted public records requests to Maricopa County Elections Department to obtain the data. The leader of WPAZ, Shelby Busch, testified to the committee chaired by State Senator Wendy Rogers (R-Flagstaff) that 464,926 ballots fed into tabulators on Election Day in Maricopa County, 217,305 were rejected, which is nearly a 50 percent failure rate.
