In the DIY Dream Shop Build series, We go literally STEP by STEP on everything you need to consider In In Dream Shop Build Part 3, we get into flattening the pad for the shop. By watching these videos you will be able to sort out ALOT of the problems you will encounter when you are embarking on a shop build of your own. Even with cardinal knowledge from my father, who has built houses for 40 years, there were still a lot of things I hadn't thought of when I got the idea to build. These videos will hopefully help you out! they would have helped me! Part 1 - is all about planning when it comes to money and some things that you may not have thought of prior. Part 2 - is all about clearing the land, and starting the build! Part 3 - we talk all about leveling the pad the shop will be built on, and get all the stone put in place and flat. Part 4 - we go through setting up the trench, layout of the building and dig the trench itself for concrete! Part 5- we start forming for the foundation and add concrete! Part 6- You get a review of all the parts for the building, and we start standing the girders! Part 7- Finishing up the skeleton of the building! Part 8 - We start the insulation and siding, this process was by far the worst of the entire build. We needed a utility trailer to haul an ATV and decided to see if this Harbor Freight trailer was junk or not. For the price, it was worth trying it out. What we found is the assembly instructions are horrible and without a parts inventory list we didn't know one of the side rails was replaced with the wrong part. We were able to work around this problem... but it sure would have been nice to know ahead of time that the package was not entirely correct. In this Driveshaft Safety Loop video, we install a loop on our 2006 S197 mustang. These are a great idea for you guys ( like us ) who have installed an aluminum 1 piece driveshaft in your car.
