This concept relates to binary thinking, flattening of the world and the age of Gnosis. Why is this an important way to talk about the world? What is it about these three numbers that is important? How does an understanding of one two and three allow you to enchant the world? Until you understand the relationships in this sequence and how it becomes non-linear, you will not understand the world properly. Something new, back with Manuel to look at the Intro to Game B video and break down what forms of enchantment, narrative capture and manipulation are going on here. We aren't making claims of good or bad when avoidable, but merely trying to show you the various tools being used in the video to influence the viewer.
This is an explanation born of many hours of work, including notes, reading the transcript, watching the video three times and lots of discussions with various folks. Hopefully our exploration will allow you to recognize some of the ways in which we are influenced and see some patterns of sense making that you can use to become aware of enchantment and narrative capture.

All of our thinking is not our own, some of it we do with other people. Much of what we 'know' or rely on is actually distributed cognition that we outsource. This could be through authority, as part of a trust network or from necessity. Understanding this is important so that you can take better control of what and why you are thinking.
Here I go over this idea and give examples to make you aware of how you work, what you pay attention to and what things you can look at to get a better view of the world. Much of our framing is a function of outsourced cognition, so we need to understand that in order to take more control of how we are thinking.

Navigating why we do anything at all ever. This is not a striaghtforward question. Discernment judgement action doesn't explain the why at all, just the pattern. So what is this why that motivates us? Moves us? Join me! We'll do the usual community thing! Feel free to stop in and participate!

Here we shall be exploring value as a topic and how it relates to relationship. This is wrapped up in hierarchy and how we act. What drives us? After my monologue we'll open it up for discussion then open it up to everyone.

Tools to make sense and avoid being fooled. Here I am talking about the claim of 'rights', why this seems like a good thing, but is actually not necessarily a good thing. I discuss the problem of rights, how people make false claims of rights (for themselves or others) and why this is important.
I note appeals to universalism, the slippery slope of equality, the problem of authority and the issues around knowing when to listen.

This is a part 2 from my last video, since I failed to exemplify the negative case enough when talking about this subject.
Why can't we find common ground? Why are we anxious and exhausted? I think it has to do with identifying against. With this constant opposition we put ourselves in with those around us as the result of putting too much time, energy and attention into being and individual. Instead of finding ways to cooperate, to communicate, to be together, we are stating where we are not, what we do not agree with, finding exceptions rather than rules.
This is very exhausting, unhealthy beahvior and what is unhealthy for you is also unhealthy for the world.

A church is he institution that protects your highlight value.
Why is this important? Is it universal? Are we all following religious patterns?
If our highest value is too small, we might fall into a cult. Any value of set of values and virtues needs to be able to allow us as full a participation in the world and its patterns as possible. Perhaps the problems of ethics and morals are too big for us to solve alone, we need distributed cognition to help us (perhaps through time, with an institution, like a church) deal with our proper participation.

Here I am discussing my conceptions of how we relate to the world in terms of how well we understand it vs. how much control we have over it. Most people don't actually want or need control and knowing this helps us to react and respond more appropriately. Hopefully we can see people differently as the result of understanding their conception of these words.
