Yes! Those of you who are familiar with my channel may be aware that I had over eighty videos and more than 500 subscribers, and now I have nothing! This is because eleven of my chapters received a dmca strike by a publisher who decided that a little unmonetized amateur youtuber was cutting into their bottom line by reading a thirty-six year old book online! Apparently, this is actually illegal! Wow. So, ever dutiful to the concepts of fairness and justice, YouTube deleted my entire channel, so now I have to start from scratch after nearly two years of work gone down the drain. What does this mean? It means that I hope that everyone who was subscribed to me resubscribes, and it also means that I may have problems in the future with DMCA strikes from this particular publisher. I am working on the sequel to Ender’s Game, Speaker For The Dead, but unfortunately due to this publisher’s penchant for crushing small creators, I’ll have to record the entire thing offline and post it all as one video rather than chapter by chapter, which I guess is more suitable to audiobook listeners anyway.
