Scientists love speculating about the ultimate fate of the universe and one of the theories they have come up with is the Big Crunch. This theory posits that the expansion of the universe cannot go on infinitely. At a certain point in time, the universe will collapse upon itself and will pull everything into the biggest black hole that had ever existed. This will be the big crunch causing the ultimate singularity to end this universe and possibly start a new one. The theory that suggests such a cyclic concept is called the Big Bounce.
