In today's video, I turned depleted uranium into X-ray film! Using an age-old photographic technique that uses the light-sensitive properties of certain uranium salts I made radioactive X-ray images that contain real uranium!
Warning performing the actions seen in this video can be dangerous. X-rays cause cancer and radiation burns and uranium is a very toxic heavy metal!
Warning: do not attempt the actions seen in this video arsine gas is highly toxic!
In today's short I'll be demonstrating the marsh test and how it was used to detect arsenic before the advent of modern analytical instruments came about.
Enjoy! :)

In today’s video, I made a 100 Kv high voltage DC power supply for some future X-ray experiments. This power supply uses a ZVS driver along with a flyback transformer and voltage multiplier circuit to achieve a very high voltage DC output. This power supply can then be used to power a wide array of different X-ray tubes and devices.
Enjoy! :)

In today’s video, I decided to make a waste oil foundry after getting tired of paying for charcoal which got very expensive. This foundry runs on used oils such as motor oil, transmission oil, hydraulic oil, and even vegetable oil. This design is very effective and can even melt rock costing almost nothing to run. Using some very basic principles we can make used oil a viable fuel easily and for very cheap.
Enjoy! :)

In today’s video, I decided to use the Big Mac that I utilized in a previous video to nitrate it and see its final properties. Nitration is a method of adding nitro groups to compounds usually using a mixture of nitric and sulfuric acid. This process usually makes organic compounds energetic so I decided to see if it would also make the Big Mac energetic. The results speak for themselves!
Enjoy! :)

Edit*
also, the nitrocellulose structure should have 6 nitrate esters, not 4*
In todays video I made a functioning x-ray machine using and old rectifier tube which is found in many old electronics such as guitar amps and CRT TV's. Using this tube I took x-ray images of various household objects too see what the internals look like.
Enjoy! :)

In today's video, I will be doing fluoroscopy which is essentially real-time X-ray vision. ill be using it to observe all kinds of interesting things that you don't normally see in X-ray.
Warning performing the actions seen in this video can be dangerous. X-rays cause cancer and radiation burns!
Enjoy! :)
