Part 4 - Escape From the Old House
Our protagonist Ethan Winters is drawn to a derelict plantation in Dulvey, Louisiana after receiving a message from his missing wife Mia, whose whereabouts have been unknown for the past three years.
Exploring a seemingly abandoned guest house on the outskirts of the plantation, Ethan finds Mia imprisoned in the basement.
She shows signs of distress upon seeing him, stating that she did not contact him at all.
During their escape, Mia suddenly goes berserk and attacks him with a chainsaw, forcing him to kill her.
After receiving a call from a mysterious woman named Zoe offering assistance, Ethan is caught off guard by Jack Baker, patriarch of the Baker family.
He drags Ethan and Mia to the main house where Zoe reattaches Ethan's severed hand as he's held hostage and tortured by the Baker family and desperately attempts escape from his captors, but is tormented by unspeakable horrors beyond imagination.
