Genesis 3:24 [https://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/3-24.htm] He drove man out and stationed the cherubim and the flaming, whirling sword east of the garden of Eden to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:1 [https://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/3-1.htm] Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the beast of the field which Yahweh Elohim had made. He said to the woman, " Did Elohim really say, ' You can't eat from any tree of the garden'? Genesis 3:2 [https://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/3-2.htm] The woman said to the serpent, " We may eat the fruit from the trees in the garden." Genesis 3:3 [https://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/3-3.htm] But about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, Elohim said, ' You shall not eat it or touch it, you will die." Genesis 3:4 [https://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/3-4.htm] " And the serpent said to the woman, No! You will not die" Genesis 3:5 [https://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/3-5.htm] " In fact, Elohim knows that when you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like Elohim, knowing good and evil." Is it really true? Was the serpent telling the truth? Let's look at the other two verses. The real reason we were kicked out of the garden must have been our inability to continue eating from the tree of life.
