How to Aim if You're Right Handed but Left Eye Dominant
I have students who run into the issue of having opposing dominant eye vs dominant hand. One approach is to train you off hand to match you dominant eye, as you will have to do this anyway when it comes to the use of any weapon with a stock or scope. Or you would do that the opposite of training your weak eye to match your dominant hand. These work, they just take more practice to make it feel natural.
The other option that works for pistols only, is to simply adjust your grip slightly kicking the back end of the pistol over towards your dominant eye. Cross hand/eye shooting can be very fast and natural with very little practice in comparison to the above method, but you will still have to face the issue again when you move on to a stocked weapon.
The main thing here though is that you bring the sites to your eyes, not your head to your sights. This is very important for defensive shooting techniques as you progress through your training.

Just one small aspect of clearing a horizontal plane we want to make sure we create enough height to clear our weapon. This usually means not to the height of our eyes but more likely the height of our shoulders which is nearly 6 inches lower. If we do this we are much more likely to clear our barrel and have a clear shot if needed. Obviously there are other factors and variables to this but this is a good baseline principle to start from.

Cold water immersion has become very popular over the last few years. Many people have found creative way of building their own at home out of water troughs and freezers. Recently though, many companies have come out with kits or units you can buy that cool the water to your desired temperature and even filter the water to keep it clean. These both save a ton of time and effort for you to go out and get that cold plunge experience you enjoy without a huge production to do so.
In this video we look at the ICEBATH.CLUB Standard Tub with their Standard Chiller/Heater Unit. This company made some big marketing promises and definitely over sold their product to the point that I would say "false advertising" on some points and "disingenuous" others.
ICEBATH.CLUB said the unit was portable, requires no tools to set up, is insulated, and the Chiller/ Heater Unit effortlessly cools down to 37F-107.6F
Some of these claims are simply a lie while others are a stretch of the truth.
First off the sales point is that this set up is portable and does not require tools. This is false! The Chiller/Heater unit is large and weighs in at 70lbs (weight not provided on website) and the hose connections need wrenches to tighten along with silicone tape on the threads to stop from leaking. So the idea that you can easily transport this and quickly set it up is not accurate.
The company claims that the Chiller/Heater Unit goes as cold as 37F but after running the machine for over 24 hours to try and reach 37F the coldest I could get the water to reach was 40F. On the heating side the company claimed that the temperature would go up to 107.6F but the thermostat won't dial above 104F. So, they are claiming a temperature that the machine won't even let you dial to. Another lie. With that being said when you max out the machine dial to 104F, it did reach that temperature.
The claim that it would reach these temperatures effortlessly is also disingenuous. The time it took to go from 70F up to 104 was consistently around 3 hours. To take the temperature from 70F down to 40F consistently took from 12-16 hours.
The unit is also very loud in the process and while in the standby mode maintaining the selected temperature and filtering the water.
I purchased this product based on the above parameters, portable, no tools, temperature range of 37-107.6F over its competitors, only to find out that these claims were not true. To top it off, they had a flash sale going on for Memorial Day weekend and I took the bait. The website has had that same sale price now posted for over 3 months, which leads me to believe that the price I purchased it for, is the actual price they sell it for and list on their website and adds that it is on sale when it really isn't.
Now that I have the unit, I am using it and plan on keeping it. 40F is cold and the 104F does feel great. I found a spot to set it up where it will not move from and I have been using it everyday for the past month. If I were to purchase again though, I would probably go with a different company due to their lack of honesty in their sales campaigns and website descriptions. If they lied about this stuff now, I'm not sure what lies ahead if I have any issues down the road with the equipment longevity, warranties, or other customer support related services.
